Work/Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in applying to volunteer to work WWTLC’s sixth season of gatherings on The Land! WWTLC plans to rent The Land to groups of 125-500 this summer. There are 4 event weeks and some weeks have multiple events sharing the Land.
Work will begin on The Land in early July and finish towards the end of August 2025. We will endeavor to give as many women as possible a chance to volunteer. Ideally, most of the volunteer positions will last 2 weeks, however if you are interested in volunteering for a longer or shorter period, we’d still love to hear from you.
Volunteers on The Land between July 15 and August 3, 2025 will be directly supporting the events on The Land during these dates. Under some circumstances, volunteers may have the opportunity to participate in event activities. Check out the event’s description/intentions to ensure you are volunteering during the event(s) you wish to support and experience as a WWTLC volunteer.
Links and more information about each event can be found at wwtlc.org/summer.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are planning to be a vendor or to volunteer specifically with one of the events, we won’t be able to accommodate you as a WWTLC volunteer at the same time.
We’re dedicated to assembling a volunteer crew with diverse skills, abilities and backgrounds, to build an efficient, evolving, feminist infrastructure on The Land to carry us through our sixth year of events and into forever!
2025 Volunteer Application will not be available until January 2025
Gap Day Helpers
The Gap Day Helper Program provides opportunities for women, who have purchased tickets to 2 back to back events, to apply to be able to stay on the Land Sunday and Monday nights between the two events; this is in exchange for helping out at a Gear Drop on the Tuesday of the second event. Tuesday is Load-In day and the gap day helper job is to spend 6-8 hours helping direct traffic and answering questions while women arriving for the event, drop their gear and take their cars back to the parking area. Gear drop helpers are not expected to help women unload their gear.
There are a limited number of Gap Day Helper positions, an application does not guarantee that you can stay on the Land. We will email you to let you know if a position is available and to share more relevant details. We will also let you know if all the gear drop helper positions are full. If this is the case, you are welcome to leave your tent or RV set up between events, but will not be able to stay Sunday and Monday nights. Please, leave a note on your tent or RV with your name on it and indicate that you’ll be back.
Gap day helpers need to provide all of their own food, and the community kitchen won’t be open for use on gap days. The Land will be closed as an event venue from Sunday at 2:00 pm to Tuesday at 9:00 am, so be prepared to be self sufficient. Toilets, showers, and water will be available, of course. There will be an orientation meeting at 5:00 pm on the Sunday evening between events for the gap day helpers who are staying over.
We’re dedicated to providing opportunities to as many women as possible with diverse skills, abilities and backgrounds, to support our ever-evolving feminist community on The Land. Thank you for being part it!
Gap Day Application will not be available until January 2025
