• Sustainability is key. To sustain the literal and figurative upkeep of The Land, owned by a nonprofit organization that is managed by members of our community, will require income for taxes, insurance, staff, tech expenses, land expenses, etc. Income for the long-term sustenance of The Land will come from the following sources:
    • Individual donations. There will be ongoing donations and fundraisers.
    • Some funds will come from rental fees when groups or organizations within the community use The Land for events or gatherings (see below).
    • We hope that future fundraising plans will include a planned giving and endowment program for women who want to give through life insurance, estate planning, and so on, to support The Land long-term.
  • Can women add WWTLC to their wills?
    Yes, please! The information needed to include WWLTC in one’s estate planning documents, in addition to the amount of the bequest, is below. Please contact your attorney for additional assistance with the process.
